Seeking the cold has completely transformed my life over the past 2 years. Immersing my body deliberately in an uncomfortable situation, followed by deep breathing and meditation to calm the mind & body has taught me how to be okay in uncomfortable situations in other walks of life. Really, it's a quote from (the great) Seneca that made me seek the cold every morning: "The body must be treated rigorously so that it may not be disobedient to the mind".

It's a mental toughness exercise, the cold plunge reduces my anxiety and increases my ability to handle stress. While also giving great physical benefits during my Jiu Jitsu classes. Thanks to the CEO's of BioHackers to convince me to embrace to cold. I always was a big advocate for cold showers but they took it to another level.

This was really a step into the unknown and out of my comfort zone, I never experienced this before. I turned of my thoughts and doubts and pushed through! To my surprise, I felt incredibly energetic afterwards with tingles all over my body. What a rush of energy! Afer a few times it became part of my daily routine and now I can't image a day without. Also because of the awareness what all the benefits are on short and long term. I praise the ice bath and I recommend this to anyone!
The first time I went into a BioHackers ice bath, I thought ''Why the hell would people this?''. All your senses try to convience you to get out as soon as possible. But luckily Charlie and Dylan were there to help me guide through the process.
After 3 minutes mental battle, I got out and immediately start to feel the benefits. My whole body never felt so alive, a real instant boost in energy just like my morning double espresso, but then naturally! Also my mood and focus during the day was significantly improved.
After 3 months of daily use of the BioHackers ice bath, I can't go a day without! I mainly use it every morning to kick start my day and after a hard intense workout, it soothes a sore body.
Just 5 minutes per day is equivalent to countless benefits, I recommend this to literally anyone!

Cold exposure is one of the most healing things you can do for your body. In my experience, it is one of the most simple things you can do to get to your center and feel your body communicate with your muscles, to connect to your breath and get in touch with your nervous system. I have been experimenting with cold exposure for the last 5 years and have benefit a lot from it.
